HOW CAN I BE SAVED?

Committing our lives to God is the most important choice we will ever have the opportunity to make. Our decision to receive God's gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is the most impacting, life changing decision we can ever make.

The bible points out that everyone has sinned. Sin has separated us from God:

 

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24)

 

But God sent Jesus to stand in the gap for us and pay the price for our sins. Jesus suffered and died so that we can be totally forgiven and reconciled to God. God loves us so much that He gave His only Son to reach out and save us!

 

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

 

Now all you have to do is receive what Jesus did. Say a simple but sincere prayer, in your own words, asking Jesus to come into your life. Ask Jesus to save you and wash all your sins away. Ask Him to give you a new life and enable you to walk in His righteous ways. Make Him your Lord, Savior and best Friend. Trust Him to give you the ability to obey Him, and ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit.

“For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved”
(Romans 10:23)

Glory to GOD! You are now born again. You have been reborn into the family of God. Let us know that you have made this decision and we will be glad to help you mature in your new relationship with God.

 

From now on, get to know God, your new Friend. He will even reveal Himself to you as you seek to know Him better. Get a bible and begin reading it regularly. Find a good church and become a faithful member of its congregation. Most importantly, talk to God daily in prayer and trust Him with all your concerns.
