B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful<\/a> is a “sister company” to Lush<\/a>. They have 3 shops in the UK, with a focus on makeup and fragrance; the fragrances were developed by Lush co-founder Mark Constantine. 1000 Kisses Deep (presumably named after the Leonard Cohen song<\/a>) has notes of mandarin, osmanthus, labdanum, myrrh, and musk.<\/p>\n 1000 Kisses Deep starts with smoky-sweet citrus notes. The smoke calms to a faint whisper as it settles into a fruity osmanthus with spicy and resinous undertones. The base is warm, sweet, musky woods. It has been compared to Laura Tonatto’s Plaisir<\/a>,\u00a0but I like it considerably more: it isn’t quite so sweet or foody-vanillic as Plaisir, although it has the same kind of comfort scent feel. All the same, I have worn it 5-odd times now, and our relationship has not blossomed past the “like” stage.<\/p>\n The fragrances all have a 20% (parfum) concentration.1000 Kisses Deep wears more like a Eau de Parfum. It is available in the fancy bottle shown above (\u00a342.00, which per the website holds a “precious” amount, whatever that might be), or in a long, thin atomizer tube at a more reasonable price (\u00a314.00, but again, no idea how much fragrance that buys).<\/p>\n Sample sets are available on their website<\/a>, but the shipping cost to the United States is, unfortunately, astronomical: I put an atomizer tube in my shopping cart and got a shipping quote of \u00a340.
