Nana de Bary attended the Parsons School of Design and worked for various fashion magazines in the United States before returning to her native Austria. In the late 1990s, she opened a boutique in Vienna featuring perfumes, cosmetics, T-shirts and handbags. Her first perfume, Nanadebary, was released in 2001, and is now known as Classic Pink<\/a> to distinguish it from the Nanadebary fragrances that followed: Bronze and Green<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Liaison de Parfum<\/p>\n

Lingerie design house of Josie Natori.<\/p>\n

Fragrances were introduced in Natori boutiques in the early 1980s; a later scent, Natori Body Applique, was distributed in department stores in the late 1980s. Two more fragrances, Natori (1995) and Josie (1997), were released under collaborative arrangements with Avon.<\/p>\n

In 2008, Natori signed a licensing deal with Parlux. The first fragrance under those arrangements will be Natori Eau de Parfum<\/a> (2009). In 2014, the license went to Luxe Brands.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Nicole Miller<\/h5>\n

American fashion designer who started designing in 1982 and opened her first boutique in 1986. Miller graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design before studying couture in Paris; today, she is best known for her brightly colored prints.<\/p>\n

Fragrances were introduced in the 90s under licensing arrangements with Riviera, and included Nicole Miller (1993), Nicole Miller for Men (1994) and Nicole (1998).<\/p>\n

Nicole Miller by Nicole Miller<\/a> (2010), originally slated for a 2009 launch under the name Frenzy, will be the first launch under new arrangements with Parlux.<\/p>\n

French sculptor and painter (d.2002); her eponymous fragrance<\/a>, which launched in 1982, features blue and gold packaging with a design of intertwined serpents. The success of the perfume helped to fund the creation of The Tarot Garden in Italy (more information at website, see below).<\/p>\n

Bath & body line founded by Nyakio Kamoche and Troy Nankin in 2001. The products are inspired by Kamoche’s African heritage. The eponymous fragrance, Nyakio, is available in perfume oil and dry oil spray.<\/p>\n

<\/a>O Boticario<\/h5>\n

Brazilian company founded in 1977 as a small prescription drugstore. Today O Boticario is one of the largest franchise cosmetics and perfumery companies in the world, with stores in Latin America, Portugal, Australia and Japan. To my knowledge, they are not yet available in the United States.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Ocean Pacific<\/h5>\n

Company founded by Jim Jenks in the early 1970s. Their early emphasis was on surf clothing and Hawaiian shirts. OP still produces clothing and gear for board sports enthusiasts, but they are now more of a “West Coast lifestyle” brand aimed at the youth market.<\/p>\n

Fragrances were introduced in 2001 with OP Juice scents for men and women. Subsequent releases include Ocean Pacific and OP Blend. Fragrances are produced under arrangements with Parlux.<\/p>\n

New York-based retailer established in 2004; according to their website, they were “one of the first lifestyle stores dedicated to men”.<\/p>\n

Fragrances were established in 2009 with Odin 01 Nomad, 02 Owari and 03 Century<\/a>. Odin 04 Petrana<\/a> followed in 2010.<\/p>\n
