5\/15: Picture challenge, edition 11. The subject is the Arnolfini Portrait by Jan van Eyck<\/a>. As usual, you are free to be as farfetched as you like in your fragrance choice…or go literal: her dress is green, they are both wearing animal fur, there are oranges on the chest and windowsill, and cherries on the tree outside the window, etc etc. Thank you to Calypso for the suggestion! 2\/6<\/a>: It’s the opening day of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026<\/a>. Do absolutely whatever you like with the theme: scent a winter sport? Wear something Italian to celebrate the location? Wear something to support your country’s team? Or, pick a fragrance to honor your utter lack of interest in sports, or winter, or both.\u00a0<\/p>\n

2\/13<\/a>: Long Lost Love…wear a beloved fragrance that has been discontinued, or a fragrance that reminds you of a beloved person, pet, possession or place. (Suggested by Old Herbaceous.)<\/p>\n

2\/20<\/a>: We’ll honor the Lunar New Year (which was on Tuesday) by wearing a fragrance that reflects the qualities of the (Fire) Horse: energy, enthusiasm, independence and passion.<\/p>\n

3\/6<\/a>: It’s The Day of the Dude<\/a>. Our community project for today: Take it easy, man. (This is a repeat from 2020.)<\/p>\n

3\/13<\/a>: Ink! Wear something with an ink note, or that is described as inky, or was inspired by ink, or that you<\/em> think is inky, or interpret this project in some other creative way.<\/p>\n

3\/20<\/a>: It’s the equinox! Celebrate the new season howsoever you see fit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

3\/27<\/a>: Wear a fragrance with a mimosa or cassie note, if you have one. Suggested by Laila.<\/p>\n

4\/3<\/a>: Celebrate anything you like about April (April Fool’s Day? the Pink Moon? Easter? Poetry Month or Earth Month? anything you can think of) with your fragrance today.<\/p>\n

4\/10<\/a>: Name your favorite bird, and wear a scent that matches it for whatever reason, no matter how farfetched. Suggested by happy888cat.<\/p>\n

If you don’t have one, wear anything that you think works with the JPG aesthetic, or maybe a fragrance that you’d<\/em> put in a torso-shaped bottle? Wear a fragrance that honors plants or water or anything natural? Wear a fragrance that makes you think of one of your favorite Attenborough television series?
